We care about your recovery so we have created a treatment environment that is tailored to you and your family’s needs. With our convenient hours, we make sure you can fit TMS in your daily schedule.
You are welcome to bring your children with you to treatment. We will have healthy snacks, toys, and child appropriate TV shows available for them. You can also watch TV or listen to music during your treatment sessions. We will do our best to accommodate your work schedule and provide FMLA assessments/paperwork if you need to miss work to get treatment. Our clinic uses a patient tailored approach to helping your brain health so often our Psychologist will step in and do the TMS treatments and provide talk therapy sessions during your treatment. Dr. Voss, our Clinical Psychologist, will monitor your progress weekly to make sure you are getting traction in reducing your depression symptoms.
The Process
- No Cost Consultation
You will meet with a TMS Care Manager either by phone or in person to review eligibility for TMS, learn about the treatment, and get all your questions answered
- In Office Intake
You will meet with our Clinicians for your pre-assesment. You will be Psychologically assessed through a series of questions to make sure TMS is the best fit for you. On that day you can see the Neurostar treatment chair and meet the TMS staff.
- Paperwork
We will do all the work for you so you don’t have to. We will contact your insurance company to determine your benefits for TMS. Payment plans can be set up for private pay and we also accept Care Credit. For Tricare and Triwest patients our patient care manager will guide you through the referral process with your providers and help collaborate your care.
- TMS Treatment Begins
You can stop suffering and beat depression in 7 weeks! The complete elimination of your symptoms of depression and anxiety is our expectation and our primary goal for your TMS treatment!
You will receive treatment in a private room and you are welcome to watch TV, play on your phone, read, or talk to our staff while you are receiving treatment. Gum and earplugs are provided. We also will provide healthy snacks for you and your children and will arrange for staff to supervise your children while you are receiving treatment. A treatment session will last between 18 and 22 minutes. The magnetic pulses should feel like tapping on the scalp and are not usually painful. If at any time they feel uncomfortable we will make the adjustments to relieve this discomfort.
